FOOTWEAR PRODUCT CARE
To prolong the life of your shoes and ensure comfortable use, they should be cleaned and stored in a proper manner.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
• Stuff the insides and particularly the toe box when not in use to help retain the original shape.
• Paper or other absorbent materials are advised to help dry out the inside between uses.
• Store your shoes in the original box they were shipped in and cover them with paper.
• Store in a dry location and where the temperature is constant.
• Clean your shoes immediately after use to prevent dirt and debris settling
into the fabric and material of your shoes.
• Dry out your shoes away from heat sources. DO NOT dry out your shoes in
the sun, or near sources of high heat like radiators or a campfire. High temperatures will damage the shoes and shorten their lifespan.
CLEANING GUIDELINES by type of material
ROA FABRIC Shoes
1. Remove the insole.
2. Remove the laces. Wash by hand or in a washing machine. Avoid using hot water for cleaning the laces.
3. Use a soft brush or a sponge to remove any mud and dirt attached to the shoe. Use gentle pressure to avoid damaging the material or fabric.
4. Wash the shoe itself by hand using a small amount of soap (alternatively using specific product for shoe cleaning) and cold water.
DO NOT clean the shoe itself in a washing machine or using hot water. It may affect the materials and binding agents in a detrimental manner.
5. Dry out your shoes after cleaning at room temperature. Do not leave them to dry in the sun or near high heat like a radiator or fire, since hot temperature will damage the components of the shoes.
ROA NABUK/SUEDE Shoes
1. Remove the insole.
2. Remove the laces. Wash by hand or in a washing machine. Avoid using hot water for cleaning the laces.
3. Wipe away any stains with a nubuck cloth or gently work them away with a suede brush.
4. DO NOT use soap or water as it may damage the material.
5. Protect the material after cleaning using a water-based waterproofing
spray.
ROA KUDU shoes
1. Remove the insole.
2. Remove the laces. Wash by hand or in a washing machine. Avoid using hot water for cleaning the laces.
3. Wipe away any stains with a nubuck cloth or using a soft brush gently.
4. Wash the shoe itself by hand using a small amount of soap (alternatively
using specific product for shoe cleaning) and cold water.
5. Protect the material after cleaning by applying a neutral wax or neutral cream and rub it all over the boot. This will restore and soften the leather while also adding a water-resistant layer. This will also make the leather last longer.
